Where the Guidance Comes From

My approach draws on a specific set of disciplines, not any one teacher or program. Here's what each one actually means and what it offers you.

Nervous System Regulation & Polyvagal Theory

A framework for understanding how your body moves between states of safety, stress, and shutdown, and what actually helps it find its way back. This is the science underneath most of what happens in session: why a body stays braced even when the danger has passed, and how to help it learn safety again.

What it offers: language and tools for symptoms that don't show up on a lab test, tension, fatigue, hypervigilance, and a felt sense of never fully landing.

Hypnotherapy & NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)

Hypnotherapy works with the subconscious mind in a relaxed, focused state, where old beliefs and automatic reactions actually live. NLP looks at the language and thought patterns that quietly run in the background and shape how you respond to the world.

What it offers: a way to shift beliefs and reactions that willpower alone hasn't touched, especially patterns that repeat even when you consciously know better.

Breathwork & Pranayama

Guided, structured breathing practices, ranging from calming and grounding techniques to more active, cathartic styles, used to shift your nervous system state on purpose rather than waiting for it to shift on its own.

What it offers: a fast, physical way to move out of a stress state, release tension held in the body, and build a stronger baseline of resilience over time.

Pranic Energy Clearing & Energy Work

A practice aimed at clearing and rebalancing the body's energetic field. It's experiential rather than clinical, and I offer it as a complement to, not a replacement for, evidence-based care.

What it offers: many clients describe it as a felt sense of lightness or release, particularly for emotional weight that talk-based work hasn't fully shifted.

Subconscious Money Mindset Work

Work that surfaces the inherited beliefs about money, safety, and worthiness that were formed early and often go unexamined, then uses the same subconscious tools (hypnotherapy, NLP) to shift them.

What it offers: a way to address financial stress and scarcity thinking at the belief level, not just the budgeting level.

Contemplative & Spiritual Practice

Prayer, meditation, and reflective spiritual study, including Kabbalah-informed teachings, used as daily practices for building inner steadiness rather than as religious instruction.

What it offers: a grounded sense of meaning and direction underneath the practical, physical work, for anyone who wants that dimension included.

None of this replaces medical or mental health care. It sits alongside evidence-based occupational therapy as part of a fuller picture. Curious how it comes together for you specifically? Book a free call or read more on the Meet Your Guide page.
